May 8, 2025 at 1:27 pmHello, sorry about your friend. I think you should directly appeal to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the French embassy. If it catches news headlines, then even if your friend’s money is not recovered, the scammers may face some action. However, since so a long time has passed, it may be hard to pinpoint their identity.GGaganbear732

February 1, 2025 at 6:45 amI understand you are triggered by the word ‘criminal’, but his husband did commit several of them. He took away his gold and government IDs. Granted my advice was on the assumption that everything she said was correct. If you have known how the justice system works you wouldn’t be so triggered. Taking away her gold which may also be her ‘Streedhan’ is a considered crime, so I didn’t advocate filing fake cases.GGaganbear732

February 1, 2025 at 4:45 amI will advise you to contact a good advocate who you can trust and start immediate proceedings under some criminal law such as Domestic Violence or 145 of the Crpc. Criminal cases are heard quickly and it will help you get access to your child and assets. The threat of criminal action might soften your husband’s attitude and then offer him that you will withdraw the criminal cases if he agrees to the mutual divorce on terms that you deem are justified. I will advise seeking help from a passionate female advocate because I don’t think any male advocate will understand your point of view and it may cause a delay and lead to the misappropriation of the joint asset by your husband. If you want to finally get a divorce this approach may work because if you decide to get a regular divorce it will be lengthy and considering you don’t have someone to back you it may also be emotionally painful. -
