March 28, 2025 at 6:46 amYou can file a recovery suit in Civil Court for the money of the ticket against the management company and the manager, for both, joint and severeable liability.A consumer case in your district consumer Commission for compensation for mental harassment and unfair trade practices (please ensure all terms and conditions guidelines of the ticket seller agency, T&C of the ticket, organisers etc. to be 100% sure that it was never mentioned that only 21+ persons can attend the VIP section. (You don’t need a lawyer for a Consumer case {CC}
Arguably, you can proceed with an FIR for criminal intimation u/s 351 of BNSS against the manager for trying to stop you from trying to avail your ticket. (I say arguable as the police are unlikely to register it for such a situation but nevertheless you have lawful remedy there.
My personal opinion would be that you go with filing both a civil suit and a consumer case as you can get a good payout in the CC and additional damages from the civil suit. (Argue that you lost on the experience for which you purchased the ticket in the first place)
Goodluck my man!

March 25, 2025 at 1:18 pmYou can approach the consumer court against California Burrito for deficiency in services (you clearly didn’t order a cockroach in your food). They will most probably take a defence that their food was clean and Swiggy added the cockroach, etc etc. Have all photographic proofs such as the photo of the food, the contamination (cockroach) and don’t tranfer them or sell your phone. It’ll be needed for a sec. 65B affidavit/certificate (you can read about it on Google).As far as Swiggy is concerned they haven’t done any deficiency in services or unfair trade practices under the consumer protection act, 2019 as their only job/service was to deliver the goods. Which they did.
In effect, sue california Burrito in your respective district consumer forum. Consumer courts are very pro consumer, mostly friendly and hassle-free, it’ll take some time but you’ll most likely get some compensation and of course the cost of your burrito back.
Hope this helps.
