I’ve seen many lawyers like this bro. Recently, I was at a chaat shop around 10:30 PM. A law student came and asked the shopkeeper if there’s any nearby shop selling Coke or Pepsi. Then he asked where he could get cigarettes. The shopkeeper said, “It’s 10:30, no shops will be open now.”
After that, he ordered some chaat. The owner packed it in a silver foil box, but he suddenly said it’s not healthy and asked for paper with banana leaf instead. I just told him, “You’re okay with Coke and cigarettes but worried about foil box?” He didn’t reply, just told the owner to pack and left. I noticed he was a law student from the sticker on his bike.
In your case, if I was there, I would’ve asked — where’s your helmet, and how can you slap me first? I’d have taken him to the police station. Just being a lawyer doesn’t give anyone the right to hit. You stayed calm for your family, and that’s really respectful.
