I have a question: 1. Did the petrol pump owner registered an FIR or not? If not then this could be a fake case.

My suggestion: You could have called your bank’s customer care and told them about what had happened sending wrong amount of money and also had to ask them if they can initiate the “Charge Back” process.

Your dad had to pay ₹360.75 in cash after sending the wrong amount ₹36075.

I am wondering where does the police coming from? This is not a P2P transaction! 🤔

Do gather local people who live near the college and tell them about the situation. And then enter the college with them including your dad. Then confront those seniors who were ragging your brother.

Also inform police that seniors were involved in ragging.

Do something fast for your brother. And keep us updated.

I am sorry this happened to you.

First contact the bank and tell them that you want to charge back. Write applications, GD/FIR to the nearest police station.
