Iif you beleive the POA is false, file a case. then she will know not to fight with you. she is taking you for granted.
if it is ancestral property, it has to be done 50/50, dont fight. just give half and be done with such kind of person.
IGet it in your name asap. We also had a similar case . It was inName of my maternal uncle. Had to bribe him liquor worth 1l over three years to get it on our name .IAsk father to do ot in court so son cant challenge later . Son only can claim in ancestral propertyIThe other party has to agree first too. You can 2x the lawyer fees if it goes through (or max 50k ) . Going by percentage is not wise . Some one suggested 10% . So for a 10cr property you pay 1cr ? Doesn’t make any sense .INothing . As we both parties agreed we skipped the lawyer . He tried to be smart and asked for 1l but we didn’t give him nothing . He was paid fees for appearing in court .Iis it a private bank? i also received lot of phone to get FD made. maybe it is their targets.but they should been clear about it.
what problem one can have with creating FD though, keeping 17L in 3.5% paying account is not a good thing to do though.
II believe all land record has been digitalised and is online (it is in punjab though) . You can visit bihar and see if the record is digitalised . You can tell your father s name and they can pull all records or even your grandfather s name and give record to you.If you just go to your village and enquire, people may recognise your father and tell you where your lands are . Maybe take help of a advocate in this matter or just bribe the patwari as he won’t change land to your name without it.
ITake your passport along with . Don’t proceed with lost as you need FIR for that and whenever you travel overseas they will ask , how old passport was lost .Does passport guys have a helpline ?
Just go there and say i found my old expired passport.
ICant think grand father will scam like this. It is a kalyug after all .Dont worry karma will catch up with him soon.
