But my resignation is not even accepted so if I’m taking up this exam they’ll next say that we offered you to take this exam so you can work for us, so your resignation is declined. What to do then

I have just dropped my resignation and it was not accepted also. Saying I have to complete the certification in order to comply with company policy.once my resignation accepted and processed then obviously I need my documents like experience and reliving letter.

Help in the sense, I want to know whether the HR can do this to an employee and whether this is legally right to force an employee to take an external certification

I have dropped my resignation because of personal issues but they are not accepting my resignation and asking me to do the certification. I’m not going to be in testing in future. I want to switch my career to devops. ISTQB certification is not a mandatory thing or does value to the next role I’m trying for right.

HR says I have to work for three months of notice period so I will have to comply with whatever the project requirement asks for.
