They want a housemaid not a ‘bahu’ .Her mother-in-law is extremely controlling and restrictive. She never lets my sister leave the house or go out with her husband. It’s a typical Marwari family setup.

Unfortunately, things have escalated – my father-in-law has verbally abused my sister on multiple occasions. And to make matters worse, her brother-in-law even tried to attack my mom
