The statements taken by the police in this manner our not used as they are. They are used under section 27 of the Indian Evidence Act.

A policeman along with the public prosecutor do this a lot. Opposition lawyers most of the times are not well versed with the law hence the client has to suffer.

Send all the evidences to DoPT. Do this urgently. It should come in the knowledge of DoPT.
