The demand is legal, AMC / Maintenance Charges aren’t spent on someone’s carelessness. As a tenant you can’t do much, As simply the committee will summon the owner. Firstly leaving the tap open these times isn’t acceptable, Hope it’s your first & last time. Usually fines are around 5-10K or even more for such negligence.
You cannot take any legal action as you are not the members but tenants, only way out is to hear with patience and try to come for a mutual conclusion.
In all these cases the committee only expects a decent apology, Stop being OTT characters as everything will go only against you.
Try to accept the lesser truth & go with lesser evil, Your time, money , energy will be saved. Simply behaving like celebrity judges won’t help at all as the wreck has been caused by you both.
If you follow what’s mentioned, Maybe next time even if you leave the tap open the society won’t wink an eye 😉 . Yes, If you take it otherwise your owner might also evict you sooner or later.

Firstly try to settle it down amongst yourselves, No senior lawyer or court will turn tables to magic instantly. Courts in India is a tough grind & it’ll take time.
There must be a reason as to why they’ve falsely implicated him, Try to find out. What can be settled in less or simple conversation don’t dig deep down the hole with additional headache.
See the reality and don’t get impressed with OTT style courtrooms or judgements, Nothing of such sorts happen.

Not a lawyer, But first keep your calm & don’t act impulsively. What’s happened cannot be changed, At least you got to know early about this person.
Try to involve both families & settle for mutual separation. Keep your interests safeguarded at all times, & Stop complete contact with your wife. Make sure all legal & financial trackings are kept separate, Threatening won’t do. Also police won’t do anything in these cases, Try to involve elders & any mutual relatives who are close can close the matter. Forget about the wedding expenses no one will reimburse it, Moral is we should stop keeping the people happy rather keep yourself happy. Spending 30L on a wedding is it really required ? Very assertively tell your wife that you don’t want to continue any further & her presence does bother you. Ask her to leave the house immediately till legal separation is done. She will understand once put properly that you cannot sail on two boats, This situation needs to be handled with maturity & patience. As things won’t go in your favour so easily. Once she agrees and her parents agree to her misdeeds then you can file for legal mutual separation. Impulsive & aggressive behaviour won’t help. Also don’t be scared, No one can simply file a dowry & harassment case just because he wants.

Further, Even filing a FIR won’t be so easy believe me.
As first thing you’ll be asked is, Did you intentionally visit the premises ? Etc. Also complaint to HR won’t be of much use as it’s not the interest of company to what happens outside unless there’s a reputation at stake like legal case or police involved.
It will be long questioning with all involved at the place, & Everyone’s answers will be examined to come to a conclusion. Sorry to ask you as you’ve mentioned which couple goes with a guy to trips abroad ? Either all you involved are highly liberated open minded evolved geniuses or I am missing something here.
The best conclusion profession wise is to change that job/ company as dealing and meeting them daily will only add more salt to wound.

Sorry for the incident. Firstly what your soon to be wife did was incorrect, Tell her and you too set your priorities straight in life. It’s always wise to maintain distance with office colleagues. Nowadays it’s call liberation and forward thinking to do ones will. Sorry for being rude & sounding like an ancient, Things nowadays aren’t as they used to be before. Drinks, Parties Etc are good once a while but shouldn’t be made into a lifestyle with some XYZ. Staying at someone else’s place these days is always a risky proposition when you’re indulging in such activities. If you really want a closure, Inform law enforcement agencies. Reddit won’t help, You’ve to collate facts & barge ahead to charge the individual. Don’t get into any trashing Etc as these events will be a double edge sword. Protect yourself and your future interests, Stay calm and avoid any impulsive actions. As they say respond but do not react. And in future you or your soon to be wife if you both like drinking so much better sit together that’s the best way out, Learn it as a unfortunate lesson to alarm you that’s it. If you think calmly you’ll realise these could’ve been easily avoided provided you know what you want in life.

I don’t know your background, But I am sure you must be aware these tests are carried out after each result which only mentions the probability & percentile.
Nothing is certain & lastly it’s will of universe, In my opinion don’t let it go so easily based on just mathematical statistics.
As these tests called as Double / Triple marker tests may or may not be accurate always.
