I am really sorry sister for all the pain and suffering you had to go through.It was a bitter phase of your life and I hope things get settled mutually/or by law asap.
I hope God gives your parents and you the strength to forget all those bad nights you had to go through and start afresh.
I wish I could help you with any legal advice but I don’t have the knowledge for the same.
But I will pray to God that whatever happens you have the best outcome of it!

You should have given it a bit more time, 10 months is way too little to judge a life long relationship maybe he could have improved himself.
