Even if you say no to it, it will keep bugging you till you see it. I don’t think you can forget something like that ever!
I had similar experience with my gf of 4 years where someone random pinged me and told me about her with proofs, I’d consider myself lucky since we were contemplating marriage.

I’d suggest at this point, go, take a look, get it out of your system.
