Move heaven and earth to get out of this. Hire a good lawyer even if it costs a fortune. If a relationship doesn’t work out, no one is obligated to marry anyone

If he gets married now, what will come after is even worse with fake 498A cases(fake harassment, fake dowry cases) Not to mention extortion in the name of divorce and alimony .

Better than false 498A and alimony after getting married

When you have a marriage certificate in the US, how/why would you want to go the legal way in India? Stay in the US and consult a lawyer
