            Yes, you can call your bank and tell them that you have received a faulty product and the brand has refused to replace them even after multiple follow ups. They will lodge a case and it takes around 2 months for resolution but they give you a temporary credit in the mean time so that you don’t have to pay the bill. They might ask you to forward your email communication, which you can. You have a 90% chance of success in this case. I have done it earlier with an icici bank card, actually it’s policy is controlled by visa/mastercard so is same all across.

              Did you buy it using a credit card. I would suggest you raise a chargeback request on the card and buy a new ac immediately. Buy from reputed stores near you like croma, reliance digital or any other. Also get the installation done from the brand technician not local vendors, they don’t know shit. Once the chargeback request goes through, they will themselves come and take back the ac.

                Nobody can spends days of their time for a suitcase loss specially with all the delays in the court. That is the problem of the system. If we can raise the complaint online and get a resolution within a month with no hassle/multiple vistis , most people will raise the complaint. Justice delayed is justice denied.

                    In this case you would need to talk to the bank. Your current loan agreement will be a joint one I guess, for individual registration, the loan would also need to be split in equal parts. Talk to your bank once, if banks give you a process and agree then the builder can’t refuse.

                        The builder is trying to scam you. The deed has to be registered in your name. Bank will hold the regiration papers until you clear the loan and you will get a copy. That’s how it’s done

                          They can’t just like, they will have to show proof. Simply claiming something won’t work as outside of irrefutable proof by the vendor this claims are usually awarded to customers.

                            Well, they will first aeek response from the vendor then afterwards will ask for details of the issue from the customer. Any written correspondence will be helpful here. Afterwards they will make a decision. In case of no response from the vendor the claim is passed automatically.

                              If you used a credit card to book the trip, i would suggest to raise a dispute transaction request due to services not provided, after some investigation bank will refund the money in your card, it usually takes around 60 days. But they give temporary credit too so you don’t have to pay the bill on this disputed transaction until a decision has been made.

                                You do understand that we live in India not in US right. Legal cases can drag on forever. This is specially challenging since the boy’s father is a lawyer so they will know about all the loopholes to drag this case forever. And OP will have to bear all the litigation expenses along with the original dues, let alone the stress and hassle ligation will cost.

                                  She has already tried everything. You can’t be nice to people who are actively trying to cheat you. Also there is nothing illegal here that I have suggest, all I am suggesting is to let their neighbours know what this familys son is doing.
