You found a problem. Fix it. Make a side business. Win-win.

I know cases like these. First you have to check the “type of possession”. If it is “physical possession” by the bank, it is better (than symbolic possession). Ask the bank if they have the official papers to auction the property. In many cases, banks and the borrower reach an agreement at the final stages, and you will be the one with unwanted waste of time, effort, and money.

“Everything was solved” means he knows the value of the property is higher than the 21 lakhs. So, what he will do is try to find a buyer and sell it for money higher than what he owes the bank and keeps the rest to himself. Not sure how legal is breaking and changing the locks are.

Yes, it is common for police to ask original RC and license to verify the ownership of bike.

Next step is police arranges for brake test where the RTO determines if your both vehicles were functioning properly at the time of accident. Donโ€™t worry, it is more of a formality nowadays. Then they will release the vehicles and hand over the license and RC book. You can proceed to fix your bike by claiming insurance.

Then you hire a good lawyer and fight the case. Or, settle it with the offender (faster option).

Well, unless he is a barber and you want your hair cut by him, he canโ€™t cut your hair.

That being said, the college is a private commercial institution and they can enact rules as long as they are illegal. Asking you to cut your hair isnโ€™t illegal. And they can find ways to stop you from writing exams. Donโ€™t get creative. Donโ€™t like the college? Convince your parents and join a better one.

Unless they have a knife on your neck and force you to pay money, you don’t even have to think about paying anything to them.
