keep all the land documents with you or get a bank locker
if possible install a fencing around your land, chances of illegal encroachment are high.
block all the contacts of relatives
the early you hire a lawyer the better

i think if propty was in ur GP name then you would have to distribute since the land was in your name they cant do much.
