Person 1 has been caught for selling ganja.
Person 2 is a legal company owner.
Person 3 is Person 1 friend and Person 2 friend.

Person 3 asked Person 2 to make a company to import tires.

Person 1 has been caught with the company details (IEC certificate only, GST not yet ready) of Person 2 on his phone. No import has been done by the company. Person 2 and 3 are innocent. Person 1 asked for company details from Person 3 and they believe that he wanted to import contraband using it, althought the company has 0 imports as of now.

Person 2 and 3 are scared that cops will put them also in trouble despite not doing anything, and only because the company details were found on Person 1 phone.

Wanted to know what the possibilities are? and if the cops can do anything legally?
