PThat thief hired a lawyer to safeguard himself from the punishment of stealing your notebook & clothes?
Which notebook is this that costs 600rs? I didn’t know such a notebook existed.
Idk how police will help bcz it cannot be proved that who stole your notebook & clothes. Additionally, police will not take your case seriously.
PIn india, rape means you’re forcefully penetrated. If the rapist didn’t penetrate (how would she?), it wasn’t rape. Even male rapists know this and do other horrible things to their victims minus the penetration to not get convicted. There was such a case in Mohali Punjab ≈ 15yrs back where a gang of men was repeatedly doing that to a woman. They were never arrested and always warned her against complaining. I’m not hopeful that that woman survived.PDon’t explain him anything. We (4-5 families here) take care of stray dogs while the rest of the society shoos them away or insults the dogs. But still somehow we are the culprits bcz they believe we are sheltering them. Such people don’t understand that if you’ll feed and love a dog, they will never bite you back.PI agree. Whenever there’s any case (unrelated to marriage), of course lawyers will do their best to make their side the strongest. It is the duty of the judiciary, esp judge to decide what is right or wrong.Removing the laws would also not be ideal bcz we cannot shut our eyes to the actual, obvious and blatant DV happening around us.
PNo good deed goes unpunished. India will soon have to remove these laws bcz of misuse. Then people will cry wolf and advocates will wonder about good ol’ days when they could get easy money. I wish hell was real.
