Yep, seriously. I am a lawyer, and your whole post is peppered with references to his religion. Are you trying to rake up some communal angle? The fact that you call him “sardaar” shows that you are trying other him by using his religion. Will you call your Hindu neighbour, “woh neeche waala Hindu”? Will you come here and write a post that my Hindu neighbour has been troubling me? Does a different law apply to Sikhs, that you need to mention his religion to seek advice? And no, it’s not funny. You need to confront your own biases.
Not sure what the religion of your neighbour has to do with the case. Youโve gone out of your way to mention his religion every step of the way. What are you trying to achieve here?
