BS.. not your address but the P.S that falls under your address. It is the responsibility of that P.S that you get that summon. The court issued N.B.W only after it was shown that the witness didn’t respond even after receiving 4 summons.. Will you argue in the P.S Or the court Or just clear your name. I choose the later

I once helped a road accident victim (I knew him) took him to the hospital in an ambulance, he died en route to the hospital and i was made a witness without my information. Court summoned me as witness 4 times but the cops didn’t care to inform me. The 5 time a NBA(non bailable warrent) was issued against me. Suddenly that cop has my number and he calls me informing about NBA and how I didn’t care to go to court as witness. I freak out and then send someone else to the P.S (I was afraid they might arrest me since it is a NBA). He(cop) demands 5k just to give the case number (which I paid) after which I gave my testimony as a witness. Sorry it’s not related to the post but that’s how system works in our country.
