April 14, 2025 at 6:16 amTransfer Petition is filed in the lowest court which has territorial jurisdiction over the court where the legal action is being taken and the court where the legal action is sought to be transferred to.In this case the only court which has common jurisdiction between Delhi and Chennai is the Supreme Court

April 14, 2025 at 4:47 amWould still be more effective than things not moving at all if the court notices and summons are being ignored by the wife or if the transfer petition is filed in Supreme CourtPPrimesumita203

April 14, 2025 at 3:30 amIn this case OP is from Delhi and also the wife is living in Delhi. It seems as if OP wants to get over with all legal proceedings and for that to happen you would want the proceedings to take place effectively. Now consider the case if OP initiates legal action in Chennai, the wife can either choose to ignore the court notice from Chennai or can we even file for a transfer petition before the Supreme Court. The time and effort spent in initiating the legal process in Chennai does not seem to be the most judicious
