PI had been through a similar situation. In my case, I had recorded the entire Instagram & WhatsApp chats of them (my ex-wife & her boyfriend) using mobile’s inbuilt screen recorder, and took backup the entire recording at multiple locations just to be on the safer side. Though I know that this evidence will not suffice as it can be challenged in many ways in the name of AI, deep fake and what not. In a nutshell, digital evidence like screenshots, screen recording are fragile and digital forensics reports will be required and it would take a hell of a lot of time. Plus proving all these would be time consuming as per our country’s procedure 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️.
I didn’t let my ex-wife know about my intentions even though I didn’t let her know that I know about her affair even. I just convinced my couple of cousins and some elders in my family about everything as well as my decision so that I can have their support. Then I convinced my wife to visit her family and I went to her hometown along with her and disclosed all the screen recording and my decision of getting divorce to her family members. Her family members tried a lot to convince me and my family members and later we decided to go for mutual consent divorce. In my case, screen recording of their conversation was in great help.
I am sharing this with you just for your reference. It’s well known that what’s the situation in our country related to procedure in terms of law in such cases especially. Personally, I would suggest you to get rid of your cheating wife with mutual consent by involving both families rather than getting into another mess.
