Should have invested that money and efforts towards your wife and kid instead. Every problem can be worked out. Confess to your wife since you broke her trust, if she forgives you then try to do everything you can to make her happy and win back her trust. You both go married to solve problems and get out of those together so don’t turn to a third person or an outsider, obviously a stranger only has seen your good sides,not lived 24/7 365 days of the year with you under the same roof. So be a man and fix issues with your wife.
