I am planning on using Patreon and as far as I know it isn’t an Indian server, and the target audience is definitely not Indian. But my biggest concern is filing an ITR and if I can get into trouble because of it.

That is not a problem because the funding app I will use is not Indian based nor are the people who play the game.

(I don’t have much knowledge of what I am going to say next, please don’t judge me) Someday I would have to file an itr, and in that I would have to mention my source of income, that is what I am really afraid of. I believe it can be traced back to me somehow. I mean I don’t have much knowledge on the subject so I may be wrong.

What if I never patent or get copyright of my game. Would I still be held accountable?
