QEvery bank or nbfc. My cousin who is totally broke, had a due of principal outstanding of 3.30 lacs + interest for ICICI credit card. The bank’s collection manager offered him a one time settlement of 50k within 4 months from first default. Unfortunately he didn’t even have that much money.QDid you miss a summon, knowingly or unknowingly? Afaik, this is a civil matter, not a criminal one.QTotally agree. Recently my cousin had some issues with the Toyota dealership. Then we typed a long post on X and tagged the consumer helpline along with pm, cm and what not. The same day the Rajasthan government’s consumer grievance department issued a notice, asking for a solution within 7 days and asked him to forward it to the dealership, and within a couple of days he got a call from someone at high post in Toyota and provided an acceptable solution.
So yes, the consumer helpline is worth giving a shot. Also, posting on X(tagging higher authorities) does help in faster resolution. I have also done the same quite a few times when I had issues with banks and I got a faster resolution.QFind a lawyer in your family or friends and send a legal notice asking them to pay the upkeep charges(make them ridiculously high). Attach all the communication proofs and invoices.QIt was based on probability and guess what I was right. He is from Haryana 🤣About that BJP thing, I never said that goons are not present in non-bjp states. A goon is a goon and when many goons unite, they become mob. This mob culture has risen to a great extent in the last 10 years or so.
QI don’t know who you are or where you are from but I can certainly say that you live in a BJP ruled state.Coming to the point, don’t be afraid of these goons. Get a capable lawyer and go ahead with the proceedings. Those culprits are threatening you and your neighbours show that they are more afraid. Stay strong brother 💪
