QNot a lawyer. But i believe your family is already protected, at least from the legal perspective.Nobody can lay claim to your mother’s house unless she has signed off the pledge or given sister in law power of attorney rights, which i believe is not the case here so it’s more of a document theft than anything more here. Immediately file a complaint of theft and forgery for this one.
