I agree. We have tried to solve it amicably for 4 months now. I am considering this step only now after he has refused to give my files and started disrespecting us

Yes. I have chats and emails with him. I specifically sent out emails reiterating the terms and he agreed to them on mail. I also have some invoices sent by him for payments made and we collected digital copies of his and his team’s Aadhar cards.
