QUpdate: Dad reached out to a friend in Senior post in Delhi Police who sent a constable to enquire. That courier guy suddenly became polite and got the cycle booked in half a day, and got the railway receipt and other tracking details! I guess this courier asshole was trying to squeeze more money from me and hence delaying it. Upon checking the receipt, I saw he charged me 1k more than the actual parcel cost, which I guess is the Delhi way.
But imagine someone not having this help, I’m sure he’d have looted so many people like that!QOutsourced is what I thought too. Before going, I had tried reaching out to railways helpline to understand the procedure for this, but they told me to visit the RMS section and get the information from there regarding this. The company is National Speed cargo and movers. Head office 18/13, 3rd floor, Geeta Colony as per receipt.QWhen I had gone to ship the cycle to the RMS section, this guy was sitting right inside railway compound, there were many other bikes packed and kept around to be shipped, there were other cargo being handled there, he had 3-4 people who were doing all the packing and moving around, there was even an RPF booth with a cop standing there and overseeing movement of things. He gave a receipt with phone number and he still answers my phone. I really couldn’t see any red flags here.
