I’ve seen first hand people not even appearing for a paper or leaving in 5 mins yet getting the minimum passing marks
You could’ve either given the bribe and got passed or ignored it because I have a strong feeling that the professor and Principal is also into this.QIt’s better you mention it
Better be criminal upfront than living in constant fear
If they accept all good for you if not anyways you would be fired laterQAny company having even 10% Morality would never ask original docs
If they are that means they have history of people running away due to anything(overwork, measly hike, toxic work culture)
So to avoid it they are taking your certificate as collateral
So again I’d suggest don’t join and look for better opportunities
But everyone is on different spectrum financially and I don’t know about you
So best case scenario you give them high quality xerox as Original and you stay one year and then they give back
Worst case scenario you given them OG and you want to leave anytime and they hold it giving any bullshit reason just so you can’t switchQDon’t spend money on notarized docs
Colour Xerox and laminate and be hard and strong on that being the OG copy
Maybe pay few 20-30rs extra for better quality print and paper but that’s itQDon’t join if possible.
If it’s a karo ya maro situation join but take a colour xerox and laminate it and give saying its og
