May 8, 2025 at 12:19 pmSo insurance instead of fixing the law? Your friend needs to move out of India or move to a village and be ready to live like a pauper. Also, he needs to mentally prepared to sit in jail for some time. If you own nothing, they can take nothing.April 7, 2025 at 5:51 am in reply to: Is it possible for husband to get a divorce without paying alimony if wife is involved in extra-marital affair? #20284RRapidrajiv3786

April 7, 2025 at 5:51 amI’d take those independent studies with a grain of salt. These are funded by so called Nordic countries where this is a social experiment. They have had a history of kidnapping children to keep the those employed in the social system relevant. Even in their home countries, they have come under fire. And no, women have been shown to be equal abusers. Courts in the West hence now rely on which parent works less i.e. who spends more time with the child instead. But that results in a race to the bottom where everyone is looking for part time jobs and to work less than the other parent.

April 1, 2025 at 8:02 am[https://iclg.com/practice-areas/data-protection-laws-and-regulations/india](https://iclg.com/practice-areas/data-protection-laws-and-regulations/india)You can do the relative comparision between EU GDPR and the Indian one here for example.
[https://www.oeamtc.at/thema/vorschriften-strafen/zulaessigkeit-von-dashcams-im-oesterreichischen-strassenverkehr-16180594](https://www.oeamtc.at/thema/vorschriften-strafen/zulaessigkeit-von-dashcams-im-oesterreichischen-strassenverkehr-16180594)
Only a few countries in the EU allow dashcams for example. I live in Austria and it is extremely strict on using cameras, even in private. There was a case of someone who bumped into a stationary car. The owner whose car got smashed used his dashcam to find the culprit. But he was fined for GDPR with a high amount. Same with a person who filmed a lawyer inside his own house and said he is recording for fun. Even in private ground, you need to have enough warnings before the person enters saying this area is being recorded.
CCTV seems to have a strange position in Indian laws currently. But a good lawyer would be able to negate the need of a private CCTV that is monitoring common areas. One could focus towards the lock or floor and say it is anonymous to a large extent.

March 31, 2025 at 7:28 pmIt does. In the EU, you can not put cameras which do not exclusively belong to you. Those laws will soon come in India as well.RRapidrajiv3786

March 29, 2025 at 8:45 amIf she is not born before 1987, she’ll need to prove that her parents are Indian. Not sure what the current process is. It is a bit easier for most Christians since our churches have records of births and deaths usually. I needed church documents of my parents to prove that they really belong to my caste. Based on that, the Tehsildar gave a nativity and caste certificate. Based on this caste certificate, my caste certificate in Maharashtra was issued.
It would be similar, I’d assume, to prove citizenship as well.

March 26, 2025 at 8:06 amIf all the BJP could do was a name changing to BNS, there is not much hope. One could have a jury system like in the US, countries of Europe were common people are part of the judgement giving system. Also, Swiss style referendums are essential to a working democracy. Currently, our constitution can not be changed easily and the courts hide behind “basic structure” argument for anything critical. Referendums take away that argument. It also gives power back to the people instead of being concentrated amongst a group of oligarchs.
