      Like I said, it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on. They’ve just typed a non-enforceable bullshit contract to wipe their asses with.

      Solution: Get out of there, look for something better. If the job exposure is good and you’re learning a lot, then stay there for 3 months and get a LOT while leaving.

        If you haven’t signed a contract (which generally are worth smack), there is nothing you can do.

        In your case, initiating legal proceedings would mean enforcing a legal contract, that you most likely don’t have or even if you do, it isn’t worth the paper it was printed on.

        And why would anyone promise you a stipend on your first day? Doesn’t make sense.

          Depends on the state. I registered an FIR once in Delhi and they followed up with me regarding my issue.

          What you are saying is not very likely. But if it happens, you would have to get a lawyer, which ofc is going to cost money.

              Do you have a binding legal contract? If everything was agreed to verbally, I’m afraid there is very little you can do in that case.
