You can help your friend but your friend needs to file a cyber complaint. If it’s you, just say so. No one is judging or making fun of you considering its a serious issue. Block the person Who’s threatening yoh. If anyone asks, just say it’s a deepfake scam that’s started taking place nowadays to extort money from innocent people. I’ll be honest..it happened with me a few years back and I did file a cyber complaint but cyber police are very lazy unless it comes to serious issues like people joking Abt police or a pol party. So yeah…just block that person threatening u..don’t give a single dime… you’ll be okay. Take care OP.

For a man I understand that embarassment can last a lifetime which Ik can be painful…you’re right. But I only kinda wrote this to the guy because he would feel atleast a bit tiny bit relieved. I’ve had a male friend who’s private pics got leaked by his ex and it was surely embarassing he didn’t deserve that but now no one remembers that picture, whereas when it happened to my female friend her ex’s friends would taunt her thru diff accounts. Action was taken ofc. No one shd go thru this scary phase.SThe truth could be a bit relieving but
1) Yes he can tell off that it’s a deepfake.
2) When it comes to a Guy’s private pics, people would see and forget very easily unlike a woman’s. But still next time be a little cautious not to share such pics online. We make mistakes once.SShe mentioned long distance…if he doesn’t know where she lives (like deets of her residence in a particular area)and all then I don’t see if it’s a concern.SGirl don’t worry, I’ve been in a long distance too, just ignore the guy, don’t give him the attention he knows he’s getting your attention by blackmailing you emotionally. Block him from everywhere. Try to distract yourself and don’t say anything in a fit of rage because those words cld impact you later. You’re strong, I’ve faced this too and dw I understoos that he was just bluffing. Just be cautious okay?
