SGive the motherboard to a electronics repair person, if the active components like IC are not damaged but passive component is damaged, they can easily repair it.
Else just give him the money by calculating the price depreciation of the machine during 10 years
SIt’s better that people don’t give their house on rent then, it’s a loss making transaction for the landlord, law should protect both sides. F Indian laws.SWas it not your responsibility to educate your parents about scams which are so abundant nowadays when you know he has so much money under his hands?Also doesn’t your father use a phone? SHolding orignal documents is a very unethical practice, you in the first place should not have accepted this. Anyways, since they are asking an equivalent of 3 months notice period and you get a chance to leave immediately, i suggest give them the money and join the new company immediately. I personally feel you are in a more profitable position by doing this.Don’t make the mistake of giving your orignal to anyone the next time.
SSo this was informed and made very clear when you joined? Also what’s the notice period duration of the ones getting pf? 3 months?SIf this company needed such a software, there is a good possibility that other companies in similar business would want it. Make a product out of your software and sell it. Heck just put it online on envato market or something and sell it and recover the money.Else put it on GitHub and make it public and open-source and put it on your portfolio or resume
