      It doesn’t look like a cosmetic mark, more like the key assembly wasn’t properly done and it’s out of shape from one corner.

      According to them this isn’t covered even in warranty so as a service centre they can’t do anything

        Yes denied to open at the store and yes it delivered to me the next day. What’s your doubt?

          They are giving me a report in which they state it’s a wear and tear/ cosmetic mark… it doesn’t come under warranty so nothing can be done.

            Went to the service centre they said it’s a cosmetic mark/ scratch, doesn’t come under a defect so difficult to replace

                They didn’t tell me anything of this sort when I denied to open it in the store, that tomorrow onwards they won’t replace if any damage occurred. Nothing is written on the bill of this sort.

                Only on their website that too very ambiguous and as a precaution (to check on the store)
                Other than that it’s written that they will take it to the service centre and if the brand agrees for a replacement then they will do it
                But the store manager told me after 24 hours nothing can be done you go to the service centre

                  First, it’s a kind of defect I can’t do even if I wanted to
                  Second, it doesn’t matter if I opened it in front of them or not… if it has a defect then it’s defective and it should be replaced if I’m asking within 7 or 14 days
                  I don’t understand this policy if you left the store it’s not our responsibility.

                  Any advice from a lawyer would be helpful about what can be done
                  It’s just the 3rd day since purchase

                    Don’t all the electronic products have 14 days replacement policy by law ? Or atleast 7.
                    WTF is this 24 hour policy

                      Yes I have the video. I didn’t open it in front of the delivery guy just confirmed the serial number

                        It was a gst billing so they said they can’t deliver it to me at the store… so they delivered it next day at my place

                          Anything that doesn’t involve a lawyer. Can I file a FIR or cyber crime (I transferred money online) or something else ?

                            It’s less amount only. But I wanna get back at them for not doing the right thing.
