An NC complaint, or Non-Cognizable complaint, is a complaint filed with the police about a non-cognizable offense. The police will record the complaint in the General Diary and advise the complainant to file the complaint in court.

While in court proceedings , this gives more weight to the threats and dv claims.

Just one more thing to add is to file NC against the wife to the police regarding dv , thefts etc
