You are again evading the main issue, which makes me suspicious that even you know you are somewhat at fault and is simply venting here.

What kind of blackmail ? Lol

Without any context, this sounds like one of those frustrated teenagers’ posts.

Sounds like coercion and fraud. Also, under which sun is people charging 10,500 interest for 19,000 principal amount? Involve police, if need be. This is a clean case of harassment and taking u due privilege.

Further, you are a woman, so your case may involve sexual harrasment angle as well. Best of luck. Contact an advocate in your vicinity if need so arises.

Too little info. Also, while taking a loan you must’ve known it’ll come with interest.

That being said, there are clear Supreme Court verdicts that one cannot be harassed for repayment of loan or interest or both.

So, file a GD in your local Police station. And, also inform your parents, since you’re a student and probably is not financially independent yet.

Next time they call, let them know you’ll go to the police if they escalate further and also that a GD has been filed.

Ahhh, fellow advocate spotted. That was in the 1800s though.

Much is missing in your story.

Why did the altercation with the police person start ?

What compelled you to raise your voice?

Who was driving the car ?

Was the driver drunk when driving?

How is being with your sister/lady friend relevant in this issue ?

I am an advocate and in my experience, Police don’t resort to beating in the first instance of seeing anyone, unless there’s a past history. What exactly aren’t you telling us Op ?

Also, you’re pretty young and you boast of beating on-duty (presumably) police personnel, which is a cognizable offence in itself.

I mean, she can file a complaint to HR and seek remedy/compensation for loss of mental health and defamation, but it would be extremely difficult to build up a case. There is no criminal liability however.

Also, Visakha Guidelines are not being adhered to here, but then again, it’s India. LawyerΒ² this side.

Are you stupid ? Just heard 498A somewhere and now yapping about it everywhere.

498A IPC has now been changed to sec 84 of BNS. Also, is this person married to the manager ? Else, it’s inapplicable.

                        What a moronic comment.
