No it’s not. My friend’s mom had been abused her entir marriage. My friend had to physically step in between them even when he was very young. Got beat up himself. His mom finally decided enough is enough after being strangled by him. Filed for divorce, dv etc. Guy threw a fit. Even the police calls the son from his father’s phone to ask for witness testimony, siding with the father only. Threatened to quit his job. Had started selling off and transferring all his property and delaying the proceedings till either the mom is pressured enough to give up or all the property is secure. Isn’t even ready to apologise or divorce. That poor woman is never getting justice. The cases where the woman gets alimony unfairly get publicised a lot. Ground truth is that it’s still very hard for actual women to get justice.
