Go ahead and file a FIR for cheating. Try to resolve amicably court and other disputes will take a lot of time and erode you financially.

What is the agreement registered? If no, I don’t think it can be enforced. Consult a lawyer.

my friend was recently in a similar situation was harassed by NBFC for unpaid loan that his father had taken, fortunately, his father did not have any assets in his name, engaged a lawyer and got the loan closed. If your father has any assets, and if you inherit them, you are liable to pay off any debt. I suggest you to reach out a lawyer and get the issue sorted out.

Not sure if it’s worth the fight ,arbitrator appointment executing a degree, it’s a long process and it will drain your pocket and time, please make an informed decision

True, we had signed an agreement of 10 pages but when we got a copy of the agreement there were 15 pages and the signature on those 5 pages were forged, certain conditions added.
