Show them the police complaint and say, you will get a new certificate either way.

So they can be nice or you’ll just name and shame them

I idea was to respond to the threat, give him a mental headache by sending him a legal notice and have him get a lawyer and go to court, I can throw money at it

I am dealing with other issues as well.

Thanks for the info here. I am not worried about legal proceedings in India.

I am a Indjan citizen however I have no family in India, no travel to India.

If forced to return I have my backup options, I can easily get a Carrabian citizenship

I want to deal with both, wife is out of the house as well, her Visa is revoked and she will not be able to travel back to US.

Just FYi … I live in the US, the brother in law is in India.

Laws are more in my favor

Also I don’t have a family, no parents, no siblings

I really want to teach this guy a lesson
