SSince Non-bailable Warrant (NBW) has been issued against you & if that has been duly received by the concerned police station then yes police will take you into custody & produce you before the court concerned where you have to apply for bail.SLaw Commission of India, Report 35 & 262 & Project 39A – Death Penalty.

SYes you have to be present on each date fixed, until the trial court advocate gives an application seeking your exemption from being personally present in court.SWhich authority is acquiring your land ? Is it NHAI or any other public authority ?
Anyhow you can always file objections to the said acquisitions or the compensation which is being awarded with the concerned authority.
