If a girl blackmails a guy like this, the guy’s life is pretty much over. Nothing he can do. Police will first laugh at him, insult him, and then send him away. Most likely they won’t even take his complaint. Your only way if at all is a private complaint through a lawyer, but be ready to have to prove each and every single details of the allegation with solid evidence. Otherwise you’re screwed.

I don’t think it’s a common situation at all. May be you watch too many Indian crime movies, or shows like crime patrol.
