OP, did you recently use or get your aadhar or any id proof xeroxed? Given how “securely” PII is handled in our country, I don’t think it’s difficult to get hold of random aadhars and contact numbers. NAL, but looks like a pretty good scam. Maybe ask a friend to call them from a different number (change info on truecaller first) and pretend to be a dumbwit tuition student or something to verify their identity. Or..why not share the number here, we all can have some fun! 🤣
