You may even put a dummy camera for now. Nobody would know if it is real, recording or not. Put 2 of them maybe. Get one agressive dog as well.

This shit is so common since past few years. Lifestyle, Pantaloons, ShoppersStop, McDonalds etc and many more ask for phone numbers. The frustrating part is that they assume every customer is going to provide it and is the reason, when few customer objects, the billing staff becomes clueless or says there is no other option.

Rich assholes also value their prestige. You may also consider going to his place early in the morning with few people and create a scene. His neighbours should know what kind of a shitty person he is.

This should have been handled within your society.

What is your society association doing when one resident is bypassing the association and reaching out to police without trying to discuss it within the society ?

You should report this to your association and demand a association meeting. In that meeting, the owner of that flat should also be present.

If this continues to drag you into police station, maybe you should be accompanied by your housing society association members or if they’re not available or not cooperating, you may take a lawyer.
