March 23, 2025 at 6:41 amIn different circumstances, interpretation of laws is also done in different light, in which a judge “thinks.”The law states equal distribution of assets of parents to all the legal heirs as per Hindu Succession Act. The court will initially try to mediate, in case it fails, will devise a formula for distribution of gold, house and other assets.
‘What I think’ and suggested is they should resolve it themselves on similar lines. Rather than spending fee and time on a legal battle.

March 19, 2025 at 10:36 amIf you check facts, its not 3rd largest owner too. The Catholic Church in India has way more land than Waqf. But both of them are national level organisations. Other religions have larger unconsolidated trusts.
The Waqf Board definitely has been demonized more than it deserved but it did need changes. A handful muslims families had created oligopoly and were benefitting from it. Despite so much property and assets, state boards were unable to run their own payrolls and asking state governments for money..

March 14, 2025 at 1:35 pmFor SMA you need to register in the domicile district of either of you.In case you want to get married from some other district or state, you need to have an aadhar address of that district or state. You can create a rent deed with someone and show it as residential proof, it needs to be 6 months old then only aadhar authority will approve.
Best of luck.

February 23, 2025 at 11:58 pmYou already have a lawyer. Get a more reliable one first. She has spent a significant amount of life under the same roof. You have to pay her maintenence to maintain the lifestyle. If you both are earning around the same and you have more liabilities, it may reduce the amount.

February 10, 2025 at 12:42 pmIn all bluntness, there are not much consequences if the car in under insurance and the driver has license even when the pedestrian dies, in most of the cases. The biggest punishment is the long legal process for both parties.Your friend is clearly at fault here but there are other factors here as well, speed of car, whether it was a highway or busy road, where the lady was crossing the road properly. Please note, the pedestrian can only get third party insurance for her loss from the insurance company if FIR is registered. Some states include the owner of the car (here the dealer) to make them a coparty to process the third party insurance.
The case can run from few months to many years but is bailable if the driver has license. She will however need additional documents and permissions to renew passport and travel abroad. It won’t affect her job much.
Filing FIR is optional. Offer them hefty compensation and protect yourself from hassle, lawyer fees and mental stress for years
Or ask them to file FIR for Third Party Insurance, offer them to pay for lawyer and NCLAT lawyer to claim the insurance. Agree in front of judge for out of court settlement. I wouldn’t trust anyone for this. People are greedy, they will take insurance and money from you both.

January 28, 2025 at 2:48 amKhula opens another pandora box of problems. She won’t get alimony or any kind of payment by the husband which she totally deserves after years of enduring, marriage expenses and gifts and the slavery they made her do. Getting that gold back will aldo become a different case then. That is what the husband’s family trying to do from the beginning, coerce her to do khula.
Best case scenario is to go with the case, put pressure, social media, go to poloticians, District Colector, NGO.

January 23, 2025 at 5:19 pmWell weigh in 3 things.1. Although some business get exemptions like a doctors clinic or a lawyer’s chamber, he will be using the property as warehouse, hence it will be commercial use. Which is illegal in most residential areas, however some states still allow it under the purview of small scale industry.
2. The electric department, the water department and the MCD may harass and you may need to change your connections into commercial, raising your bills. They also might ask to also add fire safety to entire building
3. In case, he defaults any tax payment or loan after he registers, the police and income tax department will come harass you for it, even if he changes his address after that or flees somewhere. To safeguard yourself I hope you have mentioned in the Rent Agreement that “the tenant cannot sublet the premises or use it for any business”.;,
