Sir tbh I am not exactly sure I am a clat aspirant and currently 16 but I wish you find appropriate help, about the too much court kacheri. First file fir the police will look into the background of those people and do inquire if they have any other such records if yes it will make your case stronger and to avoid too much court kacheri just ask privately for out of court selltment

Firstly is there any recording or witness of this then we can think about filing a case and to be honest the legal fees is a different issue the judge may rule it as a mere street fight and might make you pay fine for wasting so called courts time
