The legal limit is very less around 10-20 gm only. It is also different for men and women. Also if you wearing some jewellery while leaving india. It is advisable to declare it at customs during departure. Otherwise you may get caught when you bring back your pre-owned jewellery. It will be treated as jewellery bought from outside and you may be asked to pay duty.

It says if any issues or problems arise on the floor in future then the seller is not responsible, and complaints if any, should not be filed against him. It doesn’t say you can’t file a complaint for other reasons.
