Yeah man joint family members are vultures, trying to squeeze money at every chance. Expect you to drop everything when they are in trouble, but won’t even greet you when everything is going fine in their lives.

Stay strong man. One thing typical Indian family taught me is that family is not blood but people that care about you. I have had random friends treat me better than many of my family members.
