May 21, 2026 at 9:59 amLawyer here. Have handled multiple cases where employees were promised esops in general but were eventually terminated and did not receive any. Your apprehensions are spot on. Do mot move forward until you have a written clarification and confirmation from the company regarding all of these, even on email. A lot of organisations are using this bait and switch technique these days.

May 21, 2026 at 9:54 amYou can still file an FIR on the basis of the photos. Your statements are generally enough. Also think about filing a domestic violence case by your mother for maintenance and compensationMay 21, 2026 at 9:43 am in reply to: [18F] Seeking legal advice for my mother’s divorce. abusive husband/father, stolen property and asset recovery needed #79537UUser_0359e7da

May 21, 2026 at 9:37 amLawyer here. To answer your question, you should immediately file an FIR for criminal breach of trust as regards the jewellery. If there is proof of lending, a case can be filed under section 7 of the family court act for recovery of money as well as cancellation of the sale of property.

May 21, 2026 at 7:25 amLayer here, have you paid back a portion of the loans? What is the current status?
Banks and NBFCs have very strict guidelines with regard to recovery agents. Any recovery agent first has to identify themselves and can only visit you after your permission.
If it is possible for you to settle the loans, you can email the bank regarding that and with an offer for settlement. Your Cibil might take a hit if you settle though, so that is a tradeoff.
You can get in touch with me if you need any assistance, will be happy to help pro-bono -
