It’s politics. HR is there to save his ass. He’s just a puppet and does everything the founder asks him to do.

My HR said that I am not eligible for gratuity payment as I haven’t completed 5 years.

In that case will I be eligible for gratuity payment? I don’t understand the exact terms. I read various blogs mentioning 4.8 years to 5 years
