UIn that case why was India’s got latent banned under the banner of protection people, saving national and heritage.
Isn’t it also the duty of the parent to not let their children be affected by the content they see online.
And yet multiple politicians filled FIRs and caused all sorts of drama, while i don’t support those comedians, government intervention in one case and ignoring the othe one is illogical.UAs someone who is barely out of school, being unemployed seems nothing wrong.Moreover what i do or don’t has nothing to do with any of this. What i said is right and that’s the whole point.

I made this post to highlight how real issues are ignored by the government and things that barely matter are raised as a threat to national, heritage and what now.If doing this is wrong then i really hopw entire of inda coube be like this.

I have never liked or set my preference to such content but my fyp was filled with such content, and this is indeed meta’s fault. For both failing to prevent the content to be on the app and secondly to promote it to unsuspecting massesUI never claimed to do so anyways.But as a person who has been born and raised in this nation i think i can represent myself and , i think i can represent magnitude of people who have the same thoughts as me.

UWaving off rights is pretty stupid in all honesty,Just think of this , you go in a haunted house and they make you sign a document saying nothing that happens inside is their responsibility and you are on your own responsibility is something were to happen
And then they proceed to knive you to death, in this case the document is not going to be protecting them , just because the people signed to something.Similarly, in our constitution it is clearly mentioned that government can take action if someone is trying to promote violence, acts of terrorism etc, which Instagram did do.
Moreover, even if i cant do anything, i still want to try, atleast to get the attention of those who can infact do something.
UIdeal don’t become reality just by think about them, i recognise and accept this , hence i am doing the lil i can, be it being a better person myself, or to try to spread awareness, so i would either see what i want happening when i am still alive or die trying to achieve it. For me both are acceptable cases.The second half of your statement is true as well but my point is , whether covertly or outwardly, what they are doing remains the same. UWhile i completely agree that its a parents job to make sure their children aren’t exposed to things they shouldn’t be, but in all reality this sentence doesn’t hold as much weight, because not all parents are knowledgeable enough (lack of education, being unable to keep up with time and whatnot) to effectively manage what their child is exposed to,
In this situation its responsibility of the government to take the necessary measures.
The government is meant to serve the people of the nation, it is not the government people should fear
(Honestly goverments should fear the people not the other way around)As for the censorship, don’t you realise the government has been doing that for a looong time
Manipur would be the best example in recent times, an entire state which was involved in conflict for YEARS, and was conveniently forgotten by country’s mainstream media.
The very same media which would rather cover a story about viral dog or cat videos then about people ending their lives due to various injustice done to them by not just by others common people but by the judicial system, members of legislative system and the people from executive system as well.Keeping quiet when being subjected to injustice is disguised consent, and to a certain extent promotion of such activities.
