Contract marriages require several socio-economic and political system support like West! Indians should have looted the world for few centuries, kept the remaining non Indian subjects as slaves for centuries, deny the identities of rest of the world, keep pushing Indian culture, language, traditions in the others throats, change their legal system in line with our social-religious values….then you can talk about all these fancy western idiotic stuff in our social lives. Because their societies are built on these fundamentals of exploiting rest of the globe and at the cost of others shouldering their pains and problems. You can just take the end results alone if Indians want to pursue Western line of living.

Most of the Amir Khan type personalities do this in Bollywood if you have tons of money, lawyers and media support. You can even have many wives with the support of your spouse if you can force her to sign the contract. Now a days, most of the high profile marriages are contract marriages with end date itched in it.

Both will be in trouble with your financial conditions. Tell your mom to be careful with the neighbouring wife and watch her. Let her get the message and try to stop your dad from reaching out to her. After getting a job or going for higher studies you can slowly make your mom be aware if she is not already knowing it. Most likely your mom must be aware of this and she doesn’t want to rock the boat yet since everyone in your family depending on him now.

Ok, they tell them informally that you may have to approach labour department for harassment during the separation process. Talk to any lawyer and get the opinion first. Do not acknowledge or send any response without consulting the lawyer, if the HR is still adamant on paying the money. Write up the scenario with all facts and matching proofs. Typically, once the salary is paid it is paid, no one can ask for returning the salary unless if it is excess of the agreed amount as per the appointment letter. You keep the copies of all Pay Slips and try to match the salary details of the disputed duration with rest of the year. Try to go through the Appointment letter which is the contract you signed (or the revisions) and look for any such mention of bench period salary as excess pay, if it is there, try to look for the process how it should be handled in the letter. You may need to spend quite a bit of time and effort to get this organised if you want to challenge this with the HR.

Do not worry and throw away the notice or threats, they can’t do anything but they can put black mark on his career when the HR of the new company goes for reference. Hope he got all the relieving letter and experience letter from TCS!

Anyway, the guy is screwed royally for life for doing such things! He must pray almighty the girl doesn’t go all the way instead move on! She can always file case anytime if she wants, just imagine, the about to get married and she files a case! You can never trust lawyers unless you know them personally as someone suggested they always collude and try to make maximum. Even after settlement, the girl can always approach court for relief. Already court orders have acknowledged live-in relationship are as good as marriage. His marriage prospects also dim since they need to disclose this to the prospective bride! Who will accept this mess?
